For many situations we recommend the use of off the shelf metal racking systems and configure an appropriate installation.  For others we may need to offer a bespoke metal frame work system or even, as does happen, a timber based construction.

Van sizes, makes and models

We are not restricted to a single make of van or model and undertake van racking installations in short, medium and long wheel base models. We’re just as happy to put our whole energy into a single build as we are into a small, medium or large fleet.  Every single job is important to us and we make sure each one is done correctly.

At Multi Vehicle Technology Ltd we have a very flexible approach and are just as comfortable fitting out an existing van as we are a brand new one.

Van supply

We’re often asked if we can supply a van as part of a complete package deal and the answer is….of course we can.

At the time of writing this Blog the availability of new vans has been through a fairly traumatic time with lead times extended not to months but even years. Thankfully this extended supply issue appears to be slowly resolving itself with new vehicles becoming available on shorter lead times. For shortest delivery times, where time is of the essence, we usually look towards Fiat models such as the Scudo, Doblo and Ducato

Over recent months the only option for us, and our clients, has been the use of second hand vans to ensure “business as usual” for both ourselves and that of the clients business. So rest assured if you already have a well-used van, or are thinking of purchasing a second hand model, we will be happy to design the van racking for this and install.

Just a word of warning, prices of both new and second hand are currently higher than in recent years ………..but hopefully the market will settle back down to pre pandemic levels soon (perhaps wishful thinking!).

Although really talking about vans we do install racking systems into pickups, which are ideal for clients such as large animal vets and those engaged in off road servicing and maintenance activities.
