Launch of our new web site
We’re excited to announce the launch of our new web site at www.multivehicletechnology.co.uk earlier this month in which we have done our best to outline the range of products and services we provide. Our concern has always been our wide ranging product portfolio, including search and rescue command vehicles, through mobile libraries to mobile veterinary surgeries and exhibition trailers. Not surprisingly these satisfy the needs of a diverse range of clients from the emergency services, local authorities, marketing agencies to veterinary practices. Our aim for the site has been to produce one that is therefore both interesting to look at and easy to navigate, to ensure our disparate visitors can quickly and easily find their subject of choice.
We can only hope this new layout and internal links achieve this goal, enabling each visitor to find the page they want, within two or three clicks.
Whilst our new site is also intended to be more informative than our previous one we have continued to keep the written word to a minimum, with a reliance more on images as opposed to detailed technical content. Our intention being to encourage personal communication so that we can discuss client’s individual projects in detail and respond accordingly.
Our creativity
In addition to highlighting the depth of our product experience and technical knowledge our aim has been to turn the focus a little more onto our creative skills, both in product design and product development, such as our new demountable trailer range. A talent and service we have been, perhaps, a little too shy to shout about https://www.multivehicletechnology.co.uk/services/cad/
So this we trust will shine through via the styling of the web site itself, plus the information and examples of our work.
That said it is frustrating that we cannot provide much design or technical information about our security range such as cash in transit vehicles. Suffice to say they contain a large amount of electronics and protection that must forever remain confidential!
Another visible and practical change we have made is to move from a .com address to .co.uk. We have done so after much internal debate. Whilst we do build for export and have a number of very satisfied and valued clients overseas our primary market is in the UK and Ireland. And what’s more we’re really proud to be a British manufacturer using locally sourced components wherever possible.
And for us it is great to be located in the historic city of Leicester, final resting place of Richard 111 of England. A location that places us strategically at the centre of the country, giving us rapid and easy access to all of our clients, wherever their location or the position of their vehicles.
So turning the launch of our new web site to www.multivehicletechnology.co.uk was in the end a “no brainer”. We hope that you’ll agree.
New veterinary vehicle division
One final new development to mention in addition to our van conversions and vehicle body building is the establishment of our new specialist ANIMEDIX DIVISION. Our ANIMEDIX branded products are a range of veterinary vehicles including animal ambulances and veterinary surgeries as well as a range of pet transportation utility vehicles for breeders, pet taxi services, animal welfare groups and many more. Our www.animedix.co.uk web site is incorporated into our new web site.
