For those who cannot justify the purchase of a “single purpose” camper van then this could well be music to your ears. So, if you’re interested in having a camper, but only for a limited amount of use each year, then do read on.
The PlugVan is a complete camper van pod which can be installed and removed in a very simple process which subsequently allows your panel van to be used for other purposes when you’re not camping.
Camper pod flexibility
With this unique pod it’s possible to convert a standard 3500 kgs panel van into a fully equipped and comfortable camper van conversion in just 5 minutes. And, of course, the reverse is also the case whereby you can convert your camper back to a general-purpose panel van in just the same period.
With this conversion time scale, it’s not just for planned long term holidays you can use it on the spur of the moment for a weekend away…….or even for a day trip.
The PlugVan pod fits into all currently available panel vans which means you can even switch the one pod between different vehicles…sharing it with like-minded friends and colleagues. If you change your vehicles on a frequent basis you don’t need to worry.
Type Approval not required!
As there is no alteration to the structure or content of your van there is no requirement to submit it for and IVA (Individual Type Approval).
Living room and kitchen
All PlugVans offer comfortable living space without the feeling of sitting in a bare van. The camper modules even have a large panoramic window, so you always have a good view. The Life module has a height-adjustable multifunctional table made of real wood: the sink unit can be extended to reveal a large tabletop. Underneath is the storage box for the gas cartridge cooker.
In the Basic Module, there is a folding and swivel table for cooking, eating, working and playing.
Bedroom
In no time at all, the real wood panels of the backrest of your bench seat convert into a flat slatted frame for the king-size bed. The seat cushions turn into a mattress. With a mattress surface of approximately 1550 mm x 2000 mm, there is plenty of space to rest.
On a clear night you can leave the rear doors of your van open, close the panoramic window and enjoy the night sky
To maintain the interior ambience each camping pod is fitted with warm LED lighting. And don’t panic! Your smartphone and other electronic devices can be recharged via the fitted USB charging boxes.

There are three standard versions available to choose from, each which offering a different level of equipment.
Pure camper module

Importing the PlugVan
You don’t have to worry about shipping the camper pod as MVTech will take care of that for you, and making it available to install, or collect, at our factory in Leicester.
