Veterinary Ambulance
Based on the highly successful Fiat Doblo Cargo (and similar vans) our veterinary ambulances are well equipped for any situation requiring either a fast response or ordinary day to day pet transportation.
Our veterinary ambulances are finished with high visibility decals showing your corporate identity and the veterinary animal ambulance logo making the vehicle instantly recognisable giving subtle but maximum advertising all year round.
The floor and interior walls and ceiling are fully insulated and fitted out with chemical-resistant, energy absorbing white lining, to provide the highest level of hygiene as all joints are also sealed, facilitating easy cleaning.
The vehicle body features large twin side loading doors for ease of access from both sides and sliding these doors back reveals a compact, secure equipment area. Included here are versatile storage units for equipment and consumables. All are lockable adding to the security of vaccines and other sensitive veterinary equipment. This security is in addition to the vehicles remote central locking and immobiliser system.
The forward storage compartment of our veterinary ambulances sits above a false floor within which is housed a removable stretcher (an optional item) which can be used to transfer any animals too poorly to walk to the ambulance.
The nearside equipment storage area consists of three removable medicine cases which also can also work as pull out drawers. Thus they can be removed for home visits or for overnight secure storage.
Alongside these cabinets is a handwash unit delivering 10 litres of hot and cold water which is in most cases enough for a full working day. Waste water is disposed of by simply tipping the bowl backwards which then stores the waste water securely until drained back at the practice. The offside compartment houses a larger set of drawers for bulk consumables and less regularly required instruments and equipment.
All drawers have moveable dividers and non-slip rubber lining to help protect contents which the vehicle is in motion.
Also housed within the offside compartment is a powerful 12 volt powers refrigerator for vaccines and other temperature sensitive items.
The rear compartment which is accessed via the double rear doors is dedicated to pet transportation. Whether offering a collection and delivery service, inter branch transfer or hospitalisation the custom built cage system will cope with most situations. The robust aluminium unit will comfortable house two medium sized dogs and should the need arise to transport a larger patient then the central partition can be removed to create a single large facility.
Above the cage are three smaller pet carriers suitable for the transport of a variety of smaller patients.
This transport area is ventilated via a roof mounted rotary ventilation fan cum air scoop.
